Just the start.

k well i wanted to start this blog for all my family and close friends so they can share in my crazy funny, crazy aweful, crazy gorgeous LIFE. Especially because i'm going to L.A. for my DREAM internship and i want to be able to share my adventures while i'm there and all the ups and downs. i mean this is the most exciting time of my life who wouldn't want to share. right? k let's get to the meat and potatoes: I'm interning for Kelly Wearstler, the Michael Jordan of design on the west coast. She's an amazing interior designer that is on the cover of magazines, has books, is credited with creating the hollywood renisance style that is so popular, and if that's not enough she's on the show "Top Design" on Bravo. How did i land this? i don't even know??? i don't. I sent my portfolio and my resume in and got it! can i just tell you i literally danced... you know the stupid "oh my freaking goodness. did that just happen?! ahhhhh!!" kind, ya that's right you know the kind you just can't move enough to get out all that excited energy out! And everyone is stareing but you don't even care if you look like you just excaped the local mental institution because YOU DID IT! Actually when i was talking to her opperations manager i didn't comprehend or even believe that she said that they would love to have me, i had to ask her about it again! haha i thought i was hearing things! like whenever does my life work out the way i want it to?? hardly ever.
